Dear Families,

With a heavy heart and deep gratitude, we write to share that after 35 beautiful years, Shalom Yeladim The Judie Gerstein Early Learning Center will be closing its doors at the end of this school year.

This is not an easy message to write. For more than three decades, this school has been a place of first friendships, first songs, and first steps into lifelong Jewish learning. It has been a space filled with laughter, learning, curiosity, and care — shaped every day by the children, families, teachers, and staff who made it what it was.
We are profoundly thankful to the generations of families who trusted us with their children during such precious early years. Your partnership, support, and belief in our mission have meant everything. Together, we built a warm, nurturing community rooted in Jewish values, where children were encouraged to grow, question, celebrate, and belong.

Our devoted teachers and staff, past and present, have had an unwavering commitment, love, and professionalism. The impact they have had on hundreds of young lives will continue far beyond these walls.
While this chapter is coming to a close, the spirit of our school lives on in the memories we share and in the children who carry its lessons forward. We hope you will hold onto those moments as fondly as we do.
